Who we are.  What we do.

Cancer Recovery Association’s mission is to be a major and effective national resource dedicated to empowering people in the critical areas of whole-person cancer prevention, research, survival, and support.

The mission is grounded in equipping members with tools and resources to educate, advocate, and support the vision of eliminating cancer as a life-threatening illness.

Cancer patients, we especially welcome you.  We promise to work with you to deepen your knowledge of the cancer process, a journey unlike any other on which you have embarked.

For over thirty-five years, Cancer Recovery Group has been working with an approach to cancer that includes the whole person, the physical, mental, and spiritual. We have helped thousands of patients with a relatively high rate of recovery, even from so-called terminal illness. We have learned a great deal about healing and have met some remarkable patients. We believe you can be one of them.

There is an important theme that is foundational to our work: patients need to take charge and choose a stance of hope toward a diagnosis of cancer.

Many of you who read this are undoubtedly in a very difficult situation. Do not despair. Keep your hope alive. Learn from the experience of others who have not only survived but now thrive.

While the road ahead may be difficult, we want you to know that it can be the most rewarding journey you will ever take. Even though the path through cancer requires work and discipline, it is also filled with discoveries that will excite and inspire you. Keep your focus on those joys.

Begin your journey now. Here, on this website, are the keys that can open the door for your return to good health. Take charge. Live this moment. Forgive. Love. You’ll then know the power of hope . . . and you will be on the path to getting well again.
