The costs of providing the programs and services offered by Women’s Cancer Fund (WCF), a dba of Cancer Recovery Foundation International (CRFI), a Delaware 501c3 non-profit organization, are allocated to the programs and services benefited. Joint costs of personnel, occupancy and related expenses are allocated to the appropriate program or management and general function. Cash and non-cash expenditures, including direct aid to cancer patients and medicines to hospital partners in developing countries, are allocated to the corresponding program.
WCF exists to assist female cancer patients and their families in financial need. The aid provided is for rent and utilities. CRFI exists to advance globally less-toxic, minimally invasive, and more effective cancer prevention and survival practices with the goal of eliminating cancer as a life-threatening illness. In connection with its global mission, CRFI distributes pharmaceuticals as part of its Cancer Missions program.
CRFI/WCF has retained Associated Community Services, Inc., located at 23800 W. Ten Mile Road, Suite 200, Southfield, MI 48033, telephone (248) 351-6713, a paid professional fundraiser, to assist in fund development. Your contributions are tax deductible in accordance with applicable law. CRFI/WCF honors requests for refund of a donation provided such a request is made within sixty days of the initial gift.
For the year ending December 31, 2017, the Foundation’s cash and non-cash expenses totaled $14,016,443. Of that amount, $7,572,518 was spent in direct aid to cancer patients, including both cash and non-cash program services. $528,161 was spent on management and general expenses, and $5,915,764 was spent on fund development. The organization supports a wide range of programs and services which benefit cancer patients and their families. All gifts, unless specified, are considered unrestricted. Funds received in excess of specific program service goals will be used for other program services as well as their associated administrative costs.
